Today is Giving Tuesday, in case you hadn't heard. And on Giving Tuesday, we consider all the thankful things from Thursday and the black things from Friday and the local things from Saturday and the cyber things from Monday and we take a day to do the giving things on Tuesday. New to the idea? This is a great place to start.
Update your backdrop
Remember when desktop backgrounds used to be such a big thing?! When I first started blogging, people were always sharing fun wallpapers for desktops, phones, and tablets. My personal favorite from the Smashing Magazine collection this year is "Miles to go before I sleep."
Rekindle those old flames for HP
I haven't been able to take my eyes off of him, really! A movie marathon paired with J.K.'s revelations about Snape have me gaga all over again. Side Note: When Harry strips down to his skivvies to reach the Sword of Gryffindor in Part I, my fiancé was a bit snarky with me. I had to explain that I love Harry Potter but I do not think Harry Potter is hot. #boys

Am I the old dweeb alive who is pumped to discover an Analytics Mentoring program fo' free??! ....probably. But just in case you're into that sort of thing, details here. I haven't actually started it yet, but we'll see.
Pick out a NYE dress!
When it comes to New Year's outfits, the shinier the better, IMO. I'm swooning for this one.
Set the DVR to CBS for a whole month
Last month we laughed and cried along to Thanksgiving TV specials, but now we full-blown extravaganzas! Apparently CBS is upping their game with all things merry and bright and I am so not mad about it.
Kickstart your New Year's Resolutions
Those TIU girls really know what's up, don't they?? I signed up earlier today for their January fitness challenge with SELF and I can't wait. This would be an excellent time to see what it's all about!

Christmas shopping! I'm such a procrastinator, but I'm officially starting this week and hoping (thanks to the internet) to be done by Friday! I also need a NYE outfit. Oh wait, I need NYE plans first.
