Let's Get Together (yeah yeah yeah)

What a fabulous weekend! So many good times to live in our hearts and minds (and photos) for years and years. Nothing on earth compares to the pleasure of a reunion with your loves. Whether they be family, friends, the girls you used to eat lunch with, or former teammates, getting back together holds double the fun -- all the fun you used to have is recalled and recounted, and then you get to make new memories! It's a two-fer.
We went out dancing Friday and Saturday night, had Chinese, Mexican, Sushi, and Spuds-N-Stuff on our dinner plates, and slept in deliciously late both mornings. We also visited campus, explored the new cone, and felt old the whole time. USI has really stepped up its game lately! Kudos.

Shenanigans aside, one of my dreams for the future is to have the [financial] freedom and [financial] ability to travel around the country (and around the world!) to enjoy more reunions with my various and sundry birds of a feather.

If you checked out Libby's blog, you got a glimpse of what is so wonderfully lovable about these gals. The others are blogless. Time to firmly and consistently apply more peer pressure to expand the blogosphere.

I hope you all had fabulous weekends. All the better if you also
spent time with people you love spending time with but hardly ever get to spend time with!

I know it is more traditional to "give up" something during Lent. I guess you could say I'll be "giving up" reality for just a little bit. The next 40 days (and posts) are dedicated to dreams. So we're giving up limitations, fear, uncertainty.... and allowing ourselves to dream no matter how wild or crazy or out-of-this-world that dream might be!

Sarah :: Plucky in Love

Sarah, aka "Plucky", blogs on the reg, unless she's on vacation or there's a Pretty Little Liars marathon or she's mulling over the implications of the phrase "on fleek." She can't live without iced coffee, a portable phone charger, or equal pay. Say hello!
