I am a sweets fiend. I love everything glazed, carmeled, sugar coated, and creme filled.
Words like "delectable" and "scrumptious" and "heavenly" come to mind.
If I could live on iced sugar cookies [like I did yesterday] and chocolate milk and Sour Patch Kids, I would be be living the dream.
Biology has done weird things to my body that make me crave these things and yet my face breaks out and my butt gets bigger and my gut grows if I consume all that I want of cobblers and pastries.
It's quite unkind of Mother Nature, to be sure.
So in a dream world, where reality did not exist and I could have whatever I wanted, I would live almost exclusively on desserts -- custards, pies, frozen yogurts, donuts, eclairs, chocolate chip muffins, and cinnamon rolls -- and my thighs would stay the size of Nicole Richie's.
I know it is more traditional to "give up" something during Lent. I guess you could say I'll be "giving up" reality for just a little bit. The next 40 days (and posts) are dedicated to dreams. So we're giving up limitations, fear, uncertainty.... and allowing ourselves to dream no matter how wild or crazy or out-of-this-world that dream might be!
